This painting was actually a part of my “Inner Child” series. Here we see a girl sitting up on her bed, by the window. The clock shows it’s 3:12 in the A.M. Her night gown strap is down and she is seen holding a knife. She has her teddy bear close by and a flashlight on her lap. The owl is just at the window keeping an eye and “knows all”…

I didnt know what i didnt see.

A haze upon my head, a mind of catastrophe.

God gave us life

& everything we earned.

God is the power & God is our return.

But maybe still tomorow ill wake up with the world.

No haze upon my head,

a really simple girl.

I look & witness the beauty of the world,

To Him to bigger than a pearl.

& can only be created by the Majestic artist.

I hear & listen to the divine call at dawn.

I listen in awe at the scriptures of the Quran.

& can only be created by the Glorious poet.

For he is the granter, the guide, & the light.

But i just didnt know it.

You are the giver of blessings.

Bestow your blessings upon us.

& i declare that there are no other gods but you.

& through my prayers, ive learned the truth.
